Charlize has artist names under the alias' of Lady Chank$ta and more recently DJ Massacare. The name, Lady Chank$ta surfaced during late 2016- early 2017 when Charlize fell in love with Electronic Dance Music (E.D.M),  particularly the UK sounds of Drum N Bass (D.N.B), UK Garage (U.K.G) and UK Bassline (U.K.B). Charlize soon found herself on the path of the MC as Lady Chank$ta when her friend DJ CXSMIC, recognising her vocal talents and their strong compatibility on DJ sets, suggested they work together. The pair started to perform at private functions in and around London.

 

Being an artist relies heavily on networking and being a recognisable presence at numerous events. Drawing on these skills, Lady Chank$ta landed her first ever guest show on one of the most prestigious D.N.B radio stations in the world, "Rough Tempo" alongside DJ Karizmatik. She simultaneously began featuring on event flyers all over the city, performing at private parties and club nights. Through the show on Rough Tempo, Lady Chank$ta secured a few guest shows on Sweet Vibes UK(S.V.U.K): an online radio station which makes use of Youtube and various other social media platforms to broadcast D.N.B music.

 

She would regularly make guest appearances on different shows alongside artists like Motse, MC Deadman & DJ Little H. Following these, Lady Chank$ta was offered her own fortnightly slot on Wednesdays from 8:00-10:00pm entitled "Lady Chank$ta's Mid-Week Skank Out!" showcasing D.N.B artists and music from around the country. Charlize organises guest DJ's and MC's to come down and perform with her, including up and coming artists like DJ Kevstar, DJ Maniac and MC Misschief and more established artists such as Jayline, G.T.A and MC DVS. The show has since developed a secure fan base and a strong following. Around April 2019, S.V.U.K changed ownership and was rebranded as Code Red Radio (C.R.R) where Lady Chank$ta continues to do her fortnightly show on Wednesday's from 7:30-9:00pm.

 

Still pushing her D.N.B career, Lady Chank$ta discovered the D.N.B collective "Warriorz Crew" - a group of D.N.B artists from Essex who perform together regularly. This group has  played on various big radio stations such as Kool London, Cyndicut FM, Origin UK and Rough Tempo as well as in big events up and down the country. After falling in love with Lady Chank$ta's MC talent and style, the collective asked her to join them.  Being part of the Warriorz Crew and doing her radio slot has granted Lady Chank$ta the opportunity to play at some great events such as Innovation in Maidstone, R360 in Southend & The Flava Boat Party on the Thames.

 

Having a ear for music, Charlize has been DJ'ing as DJ Massacre playing D.N.B using social media to do regular live stream sets. She plays varied styles of D.N.B like Jump Up, Rollers, Liquid and Jungle. DJ Massacre's live streams are growing in popularity and her DJ skills are growing too. DJ Massacre also performs mixes live on herC.R.R show. Soon you will see Massacre on the decks at events and other radio shows.
